Not every brunch spot has a heritage wall as part of their venue. Heritage wall in Camberwell does and with its light filled interior and colourful menu you can’t help but stop by for a brunching bonanza.
They make an awesome coffee.
You’ve got to get you’re greens in so why not do it at brunch when it’s going to be absolutely delicious. That was my thought process in ordering this dish and it did not disappoint. It had a generous amount of hummus with beautifully charred greens, a dollop of smashed avo, feta, dukkah, almonds and sweet potato with a poachie on top. All the healthiness without skimming on flavour.
The smoked salmon was sliced thinly and draped over a bed of pumpkin and sweet potato mash. It had a gorgeous fennel salad and was served on grilled ciabatta with smashed avo and a pine nut crumb.
B.L.A.T is a thing because the flavours are an excellent combo. It was a baguette filled with double smoked bacon, homemade mayo (makes all the difference), avocado and fresh tomato with a side of chips for good measure.
Thick slices of toasted banana bread were pimped out with lashings of berry compote, fresh banana drizzled with maple syrup, cups of passionfruit topped with shaved coconut and pistachio - a tropical fiesta.
I heart Heritage Wall!
