Pinchy’s have opened their pop-up in the level 3 food court of the Emporium so you can get a bit fancy with your lunch and have some lobster and verve on your lunch break. They have a range of buttery crisp toasted rolls filled with amazing seafood like Maine lobster, Alaskan king crab and poached prawns. They are easy to eat and super delish so get there and treat yo’self, you deserve it.
We started with some ocean trout cornets which were little crisp delicate cones filled with finely cubed ocean trout with wasabi cream and jalepeno salsa.
The Maine to Melbourne lobster roll is the classic and with good reason. It had a generous amount of chunky lobster in a buttery toasted roll with mayo, Pinchy’s seasoning , chives and fresh lemon. Everything you want in a lobster roll.
The Alaskan king crab was actually my favourite. The chilled crab meat was absolutely delicious and so easy to eat. Melt in your mouth.
The crab croquettes were super crunchy on the outside and had a creamy crab filling. So yummy.
The lobster salad was kind of like a potato salad with chunks of lobster on top.
The French prawn roll had juicy prawns with caper mayo and parsley butter with iceberg lettuce in a toasted roll.
The wasabi prawn roll had poached prawns with a good kick of wasabi mayo, miso butter, iceberg lettuce and bonito sprinkled over the top. It was all so good.
I heart Pinchy’s!
