Small Print Pizza Bar is a cute little pizza place in Windsor where they support sustainability and make damn good pizza. The name ‘small print’ references their small eco-footprint and their beverage list comprises of local and enviro-friendly options including craft cider and beers on tap. ‘Pizza in the park’ is available at Small Print and it’s a really fun idea. You can order your pizzas in store and pick up a picnic rug and games to play. Then you walk to the dog park across the road (Victoria Park), find a spot, stick your order number into the ground and Small Print will deliver the pizzas to you. After you’re done you can return the rug and games. It’s so much fun for a date day/night and also a great way to catch up with friends at the park on a warm summer day.
The margarita was tasty which is a good reflection of a pizza place. The base was thin, the sauce was generous, the basil was fresh and the fior di latte was delicious. They also have dairy free fior di latte which is awesome for lactose intolerant or vegan types.
The chicken was a modern style pizza it reminded me of Mexican flavours. It had hot smoked paprika chicken with red onion, parsley, chilli jam, mozzarella and a squeeze of fresh lime,
The garlic pizza had a crisp base with cheesy mozzarella and parsley on top.
The hot chips had rosemary salt which was yum and we dipped them in a creamy garlic aioli. I also dipped my crusts in that aioli, so good. These were some English bulldog friends we met at the park.
These are my pups Walter and Max having a great ol' time at the park. Pizza in the park is such a fun idea, you definitely need to get onto this before the warm days disappear.
I heart Small Print Pizza!
