All you can eat Korean bbq, need I say more. Now to be honest I ate one set of food and was stuffed but if you have a big appetite you can keep topping up the dishes you love most including the soup and fried chicken. The name ‘twins daddy’ was chosen because the owner of the restaurant is the daddy of two twin boys who are the artists of their logo and some of the artwork around the restaurant. It’s very cute and gives this family restaurant a personal touch.
Korean BBQ isn’t Korean BBQ without condiments, we had the fish cakes, kimchi and the macaroni. These were tasty accompaniments. Then there was the sauces we had a sweet soy, miso and sesame oil.
We had two soups boiling in little cauldrons, a seafood one and a spicy chilli one. Both were full of flavour with a beautiful bone broth base.
The fried chicken had a good crunch and was juicy in the middle. I made a point not to stuff myself with this before the meat came out but it’s easy to do because it was super tasty.
The charcoal grill was setup in the middle of our table and the first plate of meat came out. We had beef oyster blade, scotch fillet, beef belly and short ribs. The meat was tender and melts in your mouth.
Then we had the second lot of meat, beef brisket, spicy pork bulgogi, beef bulgogi, chicken bulgogi and spicy pork belly. Each meat had a different style and was full of flavour.
Especially if you have a big appetite, you’re in for a great Korean feast.
I heart Twins Daddy!
